Hello,
I recently migrated my machine from a PC by using Paragon's DiskCopy to copy entire hard drive's contents of my PC to a Boot Camp partition on my Mac. (Basically, I wanted to retain all of my content and settings as they were on the PC, not do a fresh install of Windows and have to re-install all of the software on my machine. Ain't nobody got time for that. I had recently done a clean install on the PC, so I wasn't too worried about any issues popping up.)
For those wondering, I had to take the hard drive out of the Mac and connect it to my PC to copy to the partition needed. Yes, it took a few tries to get the scenario to work out correctly, but all of it was worth it to not have to carry around two laptops with multiple copies of the same files.
This ultimately worked out perfectly for the VM side of things. I wanted the ability to use the PC in VMWare when using the Mac, and also boot it up in Boot Camp when needing the full processing power of the machine.
Windows does boot up in Boot Camp; however, I cannot seem to get the Boot Camp drivers to install. When I try to install the drivers, the setup program simply states that it was unable to install the drivers and asks me to quit.
Any ideas on how to make the Boot Camp drivers happen are greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
K
