When I try to configure USB devices for VMDirectPath passthrough, everything seems to work fine. My hardware appears to support this, I can check the USB devices, and the administrator tells me to reboot the host and all will be well.
When I reboot the host, however, the USB devices have unchecked themselves. I'm back to "no devices currently enabled for passthrough".
We have IBM System x 3550 M2 as our host machines. We have tried both the onboard USB devices and adding peripheral PCI USB cards, but everything always unchecks during the reboot.
Has anybody run into this? We need the USB to be VMDirectPath because we have one of those dumb Wibu dongles, and they claim to only support VMDirectPath (simply adding a USB device to the virtual computer does not work).
Thanks in advance,
