So, the .vmdk file is portable across 32-it and 64-bit?

Just to make sure I get this right, the steps you are recommending with the VM Player are:

1)      Create a new VM machine with  a 32-bit VM player

2)      In this new VM machine, replace the .vmdk file with the one from the virtual machine created by 64-bit workstation

3)      Also edit the .vmx file as appropriate

Did I get that right?
