whats the vSphere version you have?
only vSphere 5.1 supports vMotion without shared storage. If its 5.1 as you mentioned create a vmkernel nic with vmotion enabled on source and target hosts. And vMotion the VM using webclient. Folowing vedio will help in understanding vmotion through webclient.
