Re: Cannot add a vCenter 5.1 to an existing vSphere Web Client

Hi Chris,

Now I'm trying to register the second vCenter with the first SSO. I'm using the VMware KB 2033620, Repointing and reregistering VMware vCenter Server 5.1.x and components. When running the repoint.cmd script it fails saying that it cannot find the openssl.exe. See the error bellow

ERROR |  Cannot run program "openssl.exe" (in directory "C:\ssl"): CreateProcess error=2, The system cannot find the file specified

and thus the certificates are not imported and now the vcenter service wont start.

I make sure the path is the correct one and still the script fails.

Any ideas?
