Replicate to DR from local Disks, then continue with Storage

ihave purchased a Storage,

Until  it comes,  can i convert some physical machines to VM's, then put the  VM's  in the local disks on  a server,  and replicate with Veeam to the  DR,

then  when the Storage comes,  just the copy  the VM's from the local Disk of the server,  to the storage, and  continue the Veeam replication to the DR from the storage?
