I know I must be missing something obvious, and I apologize for what may be a dumb question, but I've just set up a Windows 8 x64 Enterprise Evaluation system as a guest (my host is Windows 7 x64 Ultimate) and I'm not seeing any accelerated OpenGL.
I'm drawing a blank... I've got accelerated OpenGL capability in a Windows 7 x64 guest with this setup (via "Gallium" something or other)... I don't think I had to do anything special to get that, but it's been a while...
The driver that installed as part of VMware tools is VMware SVGA 3D, version 7.14.1.1211.
In the Display section of the Windows 8 guest VM settings I have [ ] Accelerate 3D Graphics checked.
The OpenGL Extensions Viewer from Realtech VR shows only "GDI Generic".
Do you know what I have to do to get accelerated OpenGL working in a Windows 8 x64 VM?
Thank you in advance for any wisdom you're willing to share.
