Explore VM contents without copying it..!!!

I created VM of ESXi 5.0 and connected it to vSphere client..!! I have 3 VMs on Vsphere client...i want to explore contents of these VMs without turning them on.!! So what i want to do is get the path of these VMs and somehow copy them to my HOST system...so that i can mount them using any disk mounting tool and then explore its contents...!!  can anybody plz suggest me something that HOW CAN I COPY VM FROM Vsphere TO MY HOST SYSTEM using VIJAVA!!!!
m able to connect to vsphere and get the list of all VMs present there..!!!
