Greetings bcarney,
I agree with your conclusion regarding Fusion version 5.
I also purchased the upgrade, as I have always done since Fusion 1, expecting it to be a solid application. As of today, some six months later, I am still forced to run on version 4.1.4.
I realize that there is a 30 day evaluation version that one can download for testing prior to making the upgrade purchase. I, unfortunately, did not choose to take advantage of this as I should have. I would have never gone ahead and purchased this upgrade if I had, I assure you.
I am anxiously awaiting a version 5.1, which, hopefully, will address the show-stopper issues that I have encountered with versions 5.0 through 5.02. Possibly, your Unity issues etc. will also be addressed.
In the future, I will certainly take advantage of any evaluation download of this product.
