If the HP Physical Computer is running an OEM version of Windows, which it most likely is, then it is not transferable in any way shape or form to another computer, physical or virtual, as it is not allowed by it EULA. Additionally even if you do transfer it HP usually has HP OEM versions Windows configured to only run on HP hardware so you might be wasting your time anyway.
In order to legally virtualize Windows it needs to be other then OEM, like a Retail or Volume License or MSDN version not OEM!
