I did some Googling about SAN chunk size and VMFS 5 and found precious little information. In choosing a chunk size for VMFS 5, should the block size, or the sub-block be the primary consideration? I am going to do some benchmarking this week with a much larger than normal (512 mb) chunk. In the mean time, any opinions?
