Composer silent install

Hello,

i'm working on a good way to automate the deployment of VDI infrastructures.

So far, all my elements are working good, but now i want to add my own CA to avoid defautl signed certificate in order to make Transfer, View Manager & Composer servers work without alarms about certificate.

To install a composer server silently, i've edited the .msi and find theses arguments:

  • DB_DSN
  • DB_USERNAME
  • DB_PASSWORD
  • SSL_DEFAULTS
  • SSL_CERTIFICATE
  • SOAP_PORT

For an install with default self signed certificate it's pretty simple.

i do this VMware-viewcomposer-3.0.0-691993.exe /s /v"/qf DB_DSN=<dsn_name> DB_USERNAME=<user_db> DB_PASSWORD=<db_password> SSL_DEFAULTS=1"

But for install with a specific certificate i have troubles.

I find that i have to set SSL_DEFAULTS=2 and after that use SSL_CERTIFICATE to track the certificate, this is here where i don't know what to do. I tried without success, the thumprint of the certificate or the friendlyname but nothing good.

Is anyone here have a idea about how set this parameter ?

Thanks for your answers
