Strangely I dont see the zip file download message inside the log. Could it mean that the download was not even attempted? I set allowHttp to true in the webclient.properties and restarted my vsphere web client service. My VCenter server is on a different domain and behind the firewall and I authenticated with it.

My url is http://vcenter-ip/abc.zip wherein i placed the zip file directly under the c drivefor test purposes.

I also want to add that when i view the pluginns from my vsphere client UI and go to Plugins - manage plugins, I see my plugin listed under Available (and not installed) plug-ins and the status indcates "no client side download is needed for thhis plugin"

Thanks

Elizabeth
