Just an update...apparently the plug-in gets disabled when you try to actually do a download of patch definitions.
I enabled the plug-in, then invoked a download of patchess which gets to about 20% and then bombs.
I get a Vsphere message box stating it is trying to reconnect to the "Server"
Ultimately I get a an error message box stating there was an error connecting to the VMWare vCenter Update Manager and in parentheses it lists the FQDN of the local machine on port 443. Should it be pointing to itself on port 443?
I do not believe I have any web services running on this machine, at least not on port 443.
What am I missing here? Is the Update Manager misconfigured???
