A colleauge and mine were wondering if the possible scenario is possible within VMware 5..
Let's say you have a VMware Host running 2 VMs running Windows OS. Each VM is located on a different subnet. If one VM wants to talk to the other VM (in the other subnet), is there anyway that it can be done within VMware without having to go out of VMware?
We are trying to alleviate having to have a Guest VM send the data to the upstream router to only have to come back down into the VMware host and directed to the VM.
I was kind of thinking along the lines of an ACL or something in VMware that says "If 192.168.1.0 wants to talk to 192.168.2.0, just look internally and go to the Guest".
Any suggestions or information would be much appreciated.
