I would like to logon to the VAMI (https://server:5480) with a domain account (active directory) instead of the root account.
Do you know if it possible?
I can logon with a domain account but only to the vsphere web client.
I did not find any information on this subject.

Yes, the network profiles are horrid. Stay away from them in almost all cases. We maneuvered around them long ago... I always fear something is going to come back to bite us but so far it hasn't. Hopefully in the next version they will make some changes to make them more useful and/or dynamic.

Kindly refresh it should show the latest version as 2.1. Also in advisor it would take couple of hours before it shows the version as 2.1
yes, it now show correctly. Two of my vCenters are reporting OK, but the one is still red. I've attempted to restart it again.
I've used the link you provided to send my info.
So, I updated the appliance from 2.0.0.1 to 2.1.0.0. When I go into the IP:5480 console where I did the update, it shows that I'm updated to 2.1.0.0. When I go into the admin console, it still says I'm running the older version.
Did I miss something?

Gostaria da ajuda de vocês para resolver um problema, tenho um cluster rac de banco de dados Oracle que está com o espaço acabando, o Oracle tem um recurso chamado OracleASM que cria discos DGDATA que podem ser usados pelo Servidor com se fossem discos locais, porém, para que eu possa executar os procedimentos preciso apresentar um espaço (disco ou volume) para o servidor. Como apresentar um espaço dentro do Storage EMC com VMWARE 5.5.0 para um servidor de Banco que está fora do Storage?

It basically working for all the GET calls. Just throwing that error when I make POST call (CreateDataStore). And this is the first time I am making POST call here. Haven't tried other things.

I kinda doubt it. I tried creating a datastore from the UI, where the LUN was created and presented the same way. And it worked fine.

I haven't tried that yet. I will probably spend some time debugging and try this later.
You can do this manually by setting up a physical disk descriptor file using a command line and then setting up a VM with that existing VMDK set.
I have done this in the past. It's a little fiddly. I have not tried this with anything lately.

What does it return, more specifically in the Principal property, when you leave out the Principal parameter on the Get-VIPermission cmdlet?
That returned zero results. Even when I put our domain group for VMware.

Are these Tera1 clients? We replaced ours years ago but I'm hearing they aren't working well with newer releases. It's time to replace as staying on an old Horizon build is a bad idea.

The previous session established by Skyline collector may no longer be active, you will to re-authenticate the session.
Just go to the Skyline Admin page and edit the vCenter configuration, enter the password again and update, it should resolve the issue.
If the issue persists further, please share the screenshot or error message when trying to update the password.
