vSphere Hypervisor on Dell Poweredge T320

Hi, this is my first post and I am very new to virtualization. We are moving several of our very old, outdated servers to a new virtual server. For this server, I purchased a Dell Poweredge T320 server. Upon trying to install the standard version of vSphere Hypervisor, I found that it was not compatible NICs that came with the server. Digging around a bit, I found out that I must go to Dell's website and download their specialized version of the Hypervisor which has drivers for those NICs.

So I did this, got everything installed, and I got my vSphere Client installed as well. When I logged into the client, I find that I am in evaluation mode for the Hypervisor, and after 60 days it will stop working. I was under the impression that vSphere Hypervisor is free for machines under 32gb of RAM, which ours is (only 16GB). There is no way to really enter a license or anything.. did I install the wrong Hypervisor? This was the only option I had for the lastest version (5.1). Do I need to format and install a lower version? Dell also has 4.1 versions  and 5.0. Should I use one of these instead?
