I have been reviewing the Disk Information from VMware Capacity Planner which has been running for over 30 days, and the results seem very odd.
The client has over 850 users, 20 servers which all are attached to a NetApp Filer.
Compared to other assessments the results seem very low needing 126 IOPS overall. For instance the Exchange 2010 Server using only 2 IOPS? For a 100 user company we normally see Exchange 2010 hit around 600 IOPS.
Has anyone else experienced this before? I'm a bit reluctant to go back to the client and say you can essentially get all your performance from a single 15K drive.
Memory and Processor information seem relevant.
