vmware tools - host detection

Hi,

As you know vmware tools 8 now has couple of registered performance counters within windows guest machines - vmguestLib_VMEM and vmguestLib_VCPU . I wanted to know if this information can be extended to query which physical host a virtual machine resides on. We want to implement site-aware VMs and need a way to detect which datacentre a particular VM resides on in an automotive matter.
