Missing Storage Adapter after replacement

I have an IBM eServer X3500 running ESXi 4.1.0 build 260247. We had the power button fail on the unit, which apparently caused it to shut down with no reason. Somehow, this (and the power failures we caused trying to figure out what happened), caused a failure in the IBM ServeRAID card in the server.

We replaced it this morning, and booted the server up, and found out one drive in our raid 10 array had failed. We were able to get it running in degraded mode while we wait on a replacement drive to arrive tomorrow. ESXi (which is installed on the array) booted up properly, but it is not seeing the replacement storage adapter. The only storage adapters I see are the onboard 631xESB/632xESB IDE Controller (which shows the dvd-rom) and the iSCSI Software Adapter. I have tried rescanning for new adapters multiple times.

Anyone have any ideas? Since ESXi will boot, the array is working (even if it's degraded), just not sure why it can't see the adapter (and hence, the datastore on the array).
