How do you collect vCenter Alarms?

Hi all:

I need to collect vCenter alarms to determine if vCenter administrators have added necessary alarms.  I've seen the powercli script that gets alarms and writes them to an output file.  I'm assuming I'd need to issue a remote command first.  After that, how do I get what is in this output text file into vCM (ie parse it) so we can report on it and check against compliance rules?
