The Select statement a couple of answers ago. Try to run it again. If there is an authorisation problem, I would expect to see some error mesasges for that.

Ну если на пальцах - запись одного и того же объема на рейд5 из N витов идет одновременно на N-1 и отдельно четность. При хорошем контроллере время на высчитываение четности можно отбросить я думаю....

a nice quick method would be to just create vm folders with permissions for the developer only and migrate the vm in there for the duration that you want to keep a hold on it.
